RuPaul’s Drag Race star Morvin Love Dion has revealed she is “grateful to be alive” after being involved in a horrific car accident.
Singer Morphine Love Dion is currently being treated in hospital after suffering serious injuries following a car crash in Los Angeles, which saw one person lose his life.
Police said the incident happened at 3:30 a.m. Sunday and involved several vehicles.
In a statement posted on Morfin’s Instagram account, it was revealed that she had been involved in a major car accident.
“On Saturday night, Morvin was involved in a serious car accident while driving an Uber. She suffered multiple injuries but is grateful to be alive. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate some space and time as she focuses on healing.”
Also in the car with Morphine was Canadian Drag Race star Kaos, who revealed in a post that she was in bed resting after the horrific accident.
Kaos shared a statement saying, “Just so everyone knows I’m fine, just in bed. I’ll make a post explaining what happened this week once I’m in the right frame of mind and can also explain everything and the incident.
“For now, I’m sorry I won’t be posting anything about dragons right now, I’ll probably post later next week! If anyone has posts, pictures, or stories of me with them from Dragcon, I’ll reshare them because they lift my spirits and make me feel positive and better!!! So feel free to share!”
Reports said one of the people involved in the accident was trapped inside his car and later died from his injuries.
An Uber spokesperson said, Entertainment Weekly“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this horrific incident. We are working to reach out to the driver and passengers to ensure their safety.”
