An audio clip of the pilot has gone viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, after he revealed the moment a plane was forced to divert after a passenger fell ill and the crew vomited.
United Airlines Flight 2477 was en route to Boston from Houston on Sunday morning local time when the situation developed so dangerous that it had to land in Washington instead.

According to the newspaper, the airline confirmed that none of the 155 passengers or six crew members needed medical assistance.
“The aircraft is currently undergoing a deep cleaning and we are working to direct customers to Boston soon,” United said in a statement.
