The Boys’ prequel series, ‘Vought Rising’, unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con

The dark superhero comedy The Boys expands its universe.

The third installment in Prime Video’s hit series was revealed during its presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, with the news that Jensen Ackles (aka Soldier Boy) and Aya Cash (Stormfront) will be leading the prequel series, Vogt Rising.

It will focus on the assets of the corrupt, multi-billion dollar entertainment conglomerate that is at the heart of Boys.

“It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early adventures of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of the “Supe” known to fans as Stormfront, who was then known as Clara Vought,” executive producers Eric Kripke and Paul Grelong explained in a statement.

“We can’t wait to blow your minds and disturb your souls with this horrific, gore-filled, fifth-person epic.”

Ackles and Cash will also serve as producers, with Ackles personally sharing the news during the Boys Panel discussion on Friday, and Cash’s appearance in a pre-recorded video.

This will be the third part of the strange superhero series.

5th generation The show, which focuses on the crime-fighting school at Godolken University, where young superheroes compete for a chance to join Vought’s elite team, premiered last September.

Announcement Vogt Rising This comes after news that the next season of BoysThe fifth one will be the last.

Season 4 premiered on Prime Video last month and consists of eight episodes.
