The biggest night for performers delivered memorable wins, heartfelt tributes, and major ensemble moments as the 32nd Annual Actor Awards, presented by SAG-AFTRA, streamed live globally on Netflix tonight. One of the night’s biggest moments was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement award to Harrison Ford.
Hosted by Kristen Bell for the third time, the ceremony honored the year’s most acclaimed performances in film and television while also recognizing one of Hollywood’s most enduring icons. Bell opened the show with a comedic musical tribute to stage names!
Film honors were led by Michael B. Jordan, who took Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his work in Sinners, while Jessie Buckley won Female Actor in a Leading Role for Hamnet. Supporting film honors went to Sean Penn for One Battle After Another and Amy Madigan for Weapons. The evening’s top film ensemble prize also went to Sinners, cementing the project as one of the year’s most celebrated casts.
Television categories reflected a wide range of standout performances. Keri Russell earned Female Actor in a Drama Series for The Diplomat, while Noah Wyle won Male Actor in a Drama Series for The Pitt, whose cast also took the Drama Ensemble award.
Comedy honors went to The Studio, with Seth Rogen winning Male Actor in a Comedy Series and Catherine O’Hara posthumously earning Female Actor in a Comedy Series, while the show’s cast secured the Comedy Ensemble award. Seth Rogen’s tribute to O’Hara didn’t leave a dry eye in the house.
Limited series honors included Michelle Williams for Dying for Sex and Owen Cooper for Adolescence.
Earlier in the day, the stunt ensembles for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and The Last of Us were recognized for their outstanding action performances, highlighting the behind-the-scenes artists who help bring cinematic spectacle to life.
The night’s most emotional moment came as legendary actor and activist Harrison Ford received the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award, presented by longtime collaborator Woody Harrelson. Ford was honored for both his decades-long career and his humanitarian efforts, earning a standing ovation from the audience.
Produced by Silent House Productions in partnership with SAG-AFTRA, the ceremony continues to stand apart as the only major awards show voted on exclusively by performers. The broadcast will remain available to stream on Netflix for 28 days following the live premiere.
