Rocker Dave Grohl’s 15-year-old daughter, Harper Willow, looks just like her famous dad.
The Foo Fighter singer, who got his big break as the drummer for the iconic ’90s band Nirvana, was spotted out and about in New York City with his two young daughters, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 9.
Grohl and his wife Jordyn Bloom, who have been together since 2003, have an older daughter, Violet, 18. Violet has performed with her father on stage a few times but missed the shopping trip.
His two young daughters kept it casual, with Gen Z’s Ophelia wearing cargo pants.
Harper, who inherited her father’s fair skin and brown hair, looked stunning in a pink shirt with oversized pants and an oversized bag.
The 15-year-old looked strikingly similar to her rocker dad as the trio braved the New York City heat wave.
Grohl’s musical career may be huge, but he’s always been fairly private about his personal life. Over the years, he’s revealed details about his life with his daughters.
On the Graham Norton Show, He revealed that it was Paul McCartney of The Beatles who introduced Harper to the world of piano.
He said McCartney ended up sitting at the piano playing Madonna’s song.
He described the moment as “crazy” and said Harper, who had never taken a musical instrument lesson before, was blown away by his performance.
“She sat and watched his hands. They sat together, and he showed her what to play, and they wrote a song together,” he said.
Since then, Harper has performed alongside her father and older sister, Violet, at a benefit concert for a children’s hospital in 2018.
Harper played drums, which was pretty special, considering Grohl got his start as a drummer with Kurt Cobain.
In 2011, Grohl spoke candidly about becoming a father during an interview on Triple M, and how it changed his life.
“When you have a child, it opens up all these new channels of emotion and perspective,” he said.
