Rep. Lauren Boebert slips over ‘President Biden’ remark in awkward speech

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) said she made a “Freudian slip” while trying to correct her reference to Joe Biden for president on Wednesday.

Boebert was also reportedly among a group of Republicans who met with Trump White House aides and Trump campaign staff to talk about how then-Vice President Mike Pence might approach the certification of the results of the 2020 election ahead of the 6th. January, according to a former Trump is helping.

Boebert appeared to point out a mistake she made Wednesday during a Knox County Republican Party dinner in Tennessee that is in line with her previous efforts to cast doubt on the 2020 election outcome.

But her effort during the speech, @PatriotTakes noted, included a phrase “used to explain a subconscious desire.”

“…which was thanked by President Biden,” Boebert said before making a face.

“President Biden. Freudian slip,” she added.
