Queen Mary’s flirty encounter with police officers

Queen Mary left a group of police officers fuming after she made a flirtatious comment at the airport.

The Australian-born queen was walking behind her husband, King Frederik, at Nuuk airport in Greenland when she addressed the officers directly.

As she passed the four men standing at the airport with their police dogs to help keep the royals safe, she stopped and said, “You look so handsome!”

The officers looked visibly nervous before thanking the king for the unexpected compliment.

But the truth was revealed when Queen Mary explained: “And so it is with dogs,” which led the four officers to realize that she had been praising the dogs all along.

Then they burst out laughing.

The clip, which has been shared on social media, has been well-received by fans who loved the Queen’s sense of humour.

“She has a good sense of humor, our queen,” one fan replied, while another praised the queen for her jokes.

Coming in just a few days After Mary fell to the ground with an electric scooter.

Mary’s youngest children, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, were just metres away when the queen appeared to be about to fall to the ground as gasps were heard from the crowd.

Her husband was also around to greet fans when the incident happened.

Fortunately, Mary seemed to handle the situation with her trademark grace, shrugging it off as she was seen regaining her balance and continuing to wave to the crowd.

When she stood up again, her security guards quickly jumped into action and prevented the scooter from moving any further.

An onlooker said those close to the incident could see the Queen’s eyes “filled with tears” after she was injured.

“I saw how much pain she was in, and her eyes immediately started to tear up. It must have been very painful to be shocked so quickly. The police immediately surrounded her and removed her from the situation,” said a bystander.

Danish news agency Ekstra Bladet obtained a video of the incident and received confirmation from the Royal Household Communications Department that Queen Mary was unharmed.

It is believed that the police and palace security accepted the elderly man’s version of events and dismissed it as an accident. It is believed that he accidentally pressed the accelerator on his motorbike while trying to reach out to the Queen.
