Pub staff stumped after finding photos of mystery man stashed around bar

Bar staff were left baffled after finding framed photos of a mysterious man hidden around the establishment. Staff at the Boom Battle Bar in Bath, UK, were left baffled when they found a photo of an unknown man.

When the second one appeared, they took him to Social media To start an “investigation.” “If you’re not the person who leaves random photo frames of men in our place, keep scrolling,” said deputy director Gina Sharp, 21, looking directly into the camera.

“Who is this? I just found a second photo of what we originally called Photobooth Phil,” she added, holding up two photos, one of a man sitting cross-legged in fitness gear and the other of a man eating.

“We still don’t know who this guy is. We just found him. If there are any more photos of our place that aren’t of Photobooth Phil or Floor Phil, please let me know.”

Then she posed a challenge to her audience.

“If you’re one of those people who used to leave picture frames in our place, and there were only two, I dare you to leave one more.”

She pointed to the back of one of the tires and added, “This time leave us something on the back because we want something. Just anything.”

The hilarious video was posted late last month and has garnered 11,900 likes and dozens of comments and shares with many expressing their surprise at the situation.

“I wish the universe would take me back” [for the update]“We need to protect him at all costs,” one woman wrote.

A third user commented: “He may be single and putting himself out there but he leaves no trace or way to track him.”

“Phil’s Photobooth kitchen in the background looks exactly like the kitchens they put in the Riverside project,” a fourth follower added.

In a comedic update earlier this month, Gina shared the news that more photos had been left in other pubs across Bath, which she had collected.

But the mystery was finally solved.

“We have a memorial wall behind our reception,” Gina said. “A staff member went to take a picture that was on the wall and noticed something — the first picture taken in our photo booth, hence the name Photobooth Phil.

“We host a lot of bachelor parties. One of the attendees came in and brought a bunch of bachelorette pictures and hung them around the bar.

“And we weren’t the only bar. After the video was posted, I received comments from multiple other places, even from security guards.

“One of the ladies from security explained the story from the inside – when she searched the bag, she saw all the pictures – there were about 20 pictures in all. She and another security guard had a competition about what was the most interesting thing they could find on a Saturday night.”
