“You’re fired!”
It’s one of TV’s most iconic catch phrases, and it caught fire years before the man behind it ran for political office.
The rest is literally history.
Donald Trump’s NBC reality show “The Apprentice” ran from 2004 to 2017, although the last season featured Arnold Schwarzenegger at the helm. Trump had other tasks at the time, like running the country.
Last year’s anti-Trump bomb “The Apprentice” latched on to the show’s title but failed to duplicate its success.
Now, Trump’s “Apprentice” is back on Prime Video, and it’s drawing a crowd.
Again.
The first season of Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice” is now streaming on Prime Video. Subsequent seasons will drop one per week on Mondays through April 27.

The show debuted March 11 and already is on the streamer’s Top 10 list of available TV shows. The reruns ranked between the number 4 and 5 slots Wednesday.
Prime Video will eventually feature the first seven seasons of the series. For now, subscribers can access just season 1. A new season will be released each week, according to USA Today.
The show burnished Trump’s reputation as a deal-maker. It also introduced the country to his adult children – Ivanka, Eric and Donald Trump, Jr.
“The Apprentice” producer Mark Burnett has had plenty of big TV hits over the years, including “Shark Tank,” “Survivor” and “The Bible” miniseries. No show has had an impact quite like “The Apprentice.”
Some credit the reality series for allowing Trump to jump from pop culture icon to the White House. The series cemented his business gravitas and flashed his sense of humor and purpose.
