Police have charged Beau Lamari Condon with new charges in the killings of his ex-boyfriend Jesse Byrd and his friend Luke Davis.
NSW Police have charged Mr Lamari Condon with two counts of domestic violence-related murder and one count of aggravated breaking and entering with intent to commit an indictable offence.
These charges are in addition to the two murder charges he already faces.
Mr Lamar Condon, who was a NSW police officer when the alleged murders took place, is accused of breaking into Mr Bird’s Paddington home and shooting the couple with his own handgun, which he had issued to police, on February 19.
The alleged murders sparked a manhunt for Mr Lamari Condon, who eventually surrendered himself to Bondi Police Station on February 23.
The bodies of Mr Bird and Mr Davies were found on a country property in Bungonya, near Goldbourne.
Mr. Lamari Condon has not been granted bail and has been in detention since February.
He has not yet entered any plea to the charges against him.
Police said new charges were filed against him on July 18.
His case will return to Downing Centre Local Court on August 13.
Mr. Lamari Condon was officially removed from his position as a police officer in March.
