Perth’s largest sushi train opens at Westfield Carousel shopping centre

Largest city perth sushi train – 114 metres long and can accommodate 126 people – Opened in the south of the famous river the shopping center.

Sushi Jiro has opened its doors at Westfield Carousel – the beloved Japanese restaurant brand’s first location in Perth.

The restaurant aims to fuse traditional and modern elements of sushi making, offering fresh sushi and a la carte menu options delivered to diners by sushi train and sushi robots.

Chief executive Anna Casman said the exciting move to Perth had been in the works for a while.

“The opening of Perth’s first Sushi Jiro Sushi Train has been long anticipated and we couldn’t be more excited and proud to be on the other side of the country,” said Ms Cassman. “It’s a significant step for us and represents a huge milestone in our national expansion plans.”

“We are excited to establish a strong presence in Perth, and when we discussed our first location, Westfield Carousel was the perfect choice. It is a prime area that attracts a diverse and large customer base, and provides excellent visibility and easy access to introduce Sushi Jiro to a new market.

The opening comes after Sushi Jiro unveiled the largest sushi train in the Southern Hemisphere in Brisbane Last month, Ms Kasman confirmed plans to expand further into Australia and Perth.

“We anticipate a very positive response from the Perth community. In warmer climates, people flock to sushi because it’s refreshing and healthy. We can’t wait to see happy Sushi Jiro diners at Westfield Carousel and continue our expansion across Perth,” said Anna.

The Carousel venue — which has a 4.2-star rating on Google — will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
