Kitchel Chillingsworth was not present when officers arrived.

Instead, he allegedly led them on a chase until his tyres hit a barrier on Ipswich-Bonagh Road at Peak Crossing.

Acting Detective Inspector Gary Watts said the couple were in a de facto relationship.

Police confirmed they were called to the property only last week.

“No wrongdoing was found, an investigation was conducted but no action was taken,” Watts said.

“We are looking for the knife involved in this incident.
