north Fremantle The Black Truffle is undergoing extensive renovations that will transform the venue into a neighborhood destination that caters to the entire family.
The new look of the venue will be revealed on July 19, with owner and Fremantle local Dan Crystal saying he is excited to reopen the venue to the public.
“I’m really excited to complete the renovation and be able to put my own touch on The Black Truffle,” he said.
“It took six months to improve the interior design with a modern touch and to serve high quality food using our new pizza oven for breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
Mr. Crystal said his kitchen team worked hard to create a special menu with unique offerings such as bacon, brie and arugula pizza, truffle and porcini pizza and lemon pizza made with lemon cream, fresh cream and fresh basil.
“The dough we use to make our signature pizzas and sandwiches is hand-made and left to rise for 48 hours at 80% humidity, resulting in a light dough with a large, delicious crust,” he added.
The restaurant even imported an oven from Italy that was specially designed to give the pizza a crispy, puffy base.
As part of The Black Truffle’s plan to provide something for everyone, there will be plenty of gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options available.
The restaurant will be open seven days a week, serving dinner from Wednesday to Sunday.
