Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has shared a previously unpublished photo taken of the princess on her wedding day in a touching tribute to mark their fourth wedding anniversary.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly “ready to do more” to help lead the Royal Family. The absence of senior royals has been felt after it was revealed that King Charles and Princess Catherine are battling cancer. “They just need to get the green light,” royal expert Phil Dampier told GB News. The couple married in July 2020 during the height of the global Covid-19 pandemic and were unable to have a traditional royal wedding due to social distancing rules.
Instead, Beatrice and Edoardo gathered a small group of close family members for a largely private event at All Saints Church within the grounds of Royal Lodge.
On Wednesday, Mozzi posted an intimate photo of the newlyweds taken in Windsor Great Park on Instagram.
He wrote next to the photo: “Happy 4th wedding anniversary my love.”
“Every day is a very special day with you. I love you so much.”
The socially distanced wedding was limited to 20 family members, mostly the couple’s parents and siblings, as well as Beatrice’s grandparents Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
Beatrice’s wedding was the last royal wedding attended by both Philip and Elizabeth II before their deaths in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

The unique wedding dress worn by Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter was a recycled dress designed by Norman Hartnell in the 1950s, and given to Queen Elizabeth II.
Additionally, Beatrice wore Queen Mary’s tiara, which the late Queen wore at her wedding to Prince Philip in 1947, and shoes she previously wore at her cousin Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011.
The non-working Queen, who is currently tenth in line to the throne, and her husband later welcomed their daughter, Sienna Mapelli Mozzi, in 2021.
Beatrice’s big day was also a major departure from Her sister Eugenie’s royal wedding was televised around the world. At Windsor Chapel in 2018, attended by hundreds of guests.
Eugenie exchanged vows just months after her cousin Prince Harry also married Meghan Markle at Windsor Chapel.
