WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) – Naugatuck Police have captured the man accused of killing his 11-month-old daughter last month.
Christopher Francisquini was apprehended at 3:05 p.m. in the area of 400 Grand Street in the city of Waterbury, according to Naugatuck police.
“This is a testament to the great police work done by the men and women of the Waterbury Police Department as they safely apprehended a very dangerous and violent homicide suspect,” Chief Fernando Spagnolo, Waterbury Police Department.
Police say a call from a local resident who recognized Francisquini from media coverage led to the arrest.
Police have released bodycam footage of the arrest.
The police held a press conference at 7pm tonight.
