Miss Universe Australia: National modelling final coming to Perth

Miss Universe Australia candidate Indira Streckfuss from Perth will have the chance to win the prestigious title right here in her home country.

It has been announced that the national finals of the Miss Universe pageant will be held in Perth on September 5.

The Crown Perth Grand Ballroom will be transformed into the ultimate fashion show as 28 finalists compete on the main stage for the title of Miss Universe Australia.

The action-packed event includes live performances, former Ibiza DJs Gemelini and Banjo, and VIP guests on the red carpet.

An exclusive party is set to take place following the relaunch of Crown Nightclub.

Strickfoss, 20, won the title of Miss West Coast 2024 at the Western Australian final in April.

In an inspiring decision, a Bachelor of Commerce graduate applied to participate in the competition with the aim of spreading awareness about adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.

The Miss World was diagnosed with spinal disease at the age of 14 and spent two years in a full spinal brace for 22 hours a day.

You will appear in the national finals alongside contestants from all over Australia.

The winner of Miss Universe Australia will then travel to compete in the international final in Mexico.

Previous National Finals have been held in the Gold Coast and Melbourne, so this is an exciting time for this great event.

Those looking to witness history can reserve a table for ten with premium seating for $330 per person.

All ticket types include a three-course meal and a four-hour drinks package with champagne upgrades as well.

Last year, Victorian Murraya Wilson was crowned Australian champion.

Previous finalists have received major prizes, including an apartment and car for their judge, paid ambassadorships with global brands and a $20,000 NSR Hire business and education grant.
