Meity secretary S Krishnan emphasised the importance of collaboration between government, industry, and academia for India’s technological advancement, citing China’s DeepSeek AI model as an example. Meity is fostering partnerships, including one between TCS and C-DAC for a sovereign cloud platform, and jointly funding research on 2D materials.
