A Western Australian could become Australia’s newest millionaire in Saturday’s mega lottery draw.
A massive $20 million Superdraw jackpot is on offer, with Lotterywest expecting ticket sales to soar as residents eager for a chance to win a life-changing sum.
Washington state was home to a handful of Saturday Superdraw winners, with one television network taking a share of the $5 million Division I prize in May.
The May draw also saw twelve WA players win the Division 2 prize pool of over $14,000.
Lotterywest spokeswoman Zoe Winder said 500 tickets are expected to be sold every minute.
“We expect ticket sales to peak between 11am and 12pm today, with around 500 tickets sold every minute,” Fender said.
“A total of 26 Western Australians won Division 1 this year, sharing more than $32 million in prizes. Of those winners, 13 were won thanks to the Saturday Lotto.
“Imagine traveling to Paris for the Olympics after a life-changing win, or better yet, celebrating that win with your family, friends or co-workers.”
All profits from Superdraw tickets sold go back to the WA community through donations.
Tickets are available in store and online through Western Lottery Submissions until 6pm Saturday.
