King and Camilla rushed out of event: ‘Security concern’

King Charles and Queen Camilla have been removed from a public event amid security concerns in Jersey.

The royal couple viewed local produce including cows and honey at an outdoor expo on Monday.

But the event did not last long and they were taken on a short trip to a nearby hotel.

After a few minutes they reappeared and continued the tour to present.

There was a small problem that was a concern, and the investigation revealed that it was a false alarm, which is understandable.

It is believed that all precautions were taken and the program resumed shortly after.

Camilla was eating ice cream when a member of the royal entourage whispered something to her.

She and Charles were then pulled out and taken to the nearby Hotel de Beaume d’Or.

King Charles and Camilla visit Australia

This worrying security moment comes after confirmation of the couple’s visit to Australia.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla are due to visit Australia in October, the first time a reigning monarch has visited Australia since the late Queen Elizabeth in 2011.

The royal visit will include a trip to New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, as well as Samoa, where His Majesty the King and the Crown Prince will attend the 2024 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

King Charles’ visit to Australia will be short, with a palace spokesman saying the tour will not include New Zealand on the advice of the king’s doctor, after he was diagnosed with cancer in January.

“The King’s doctors have advised against extending their Majesty’s trip at this time, to prioritise His Majesty’s continued recovery,” the spokesman said.

“As with all recent engagements of His Majesty the King, his programme in both countries will be subject to the advice of doctors, and any necessary adjustments for health reasons.

The King’s doctors advised that such a lengthy programme should be avoided at this time, to prioritise His Majesty’s continued recovery.

“After close consultation with the Prime Ministers of Australia and New Zealand, and taking into account time and logistical pressures, it was agreed that the visit would be limited to Samoa and Australia only.

“His Majesty the King expresses his sincere thanks and good wishes to all parties for their continued support and understanding.”

In March, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed that Buckingham Palace was planning a royal visit later in 2024 after the potential programme was suspended following news that Her Majesty had been diagnosed with cancer in January.

King Charles had undergone surgery to remove an enlarged prostate when Buckingham Palace announced that His Majesty needed treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.

“The King, Queen and members of the Royal Family are always welcome in Australia,” Albanese said in March.

New South Wales Premier Chris Minns said he was “very pleased” that King Charles and Queen Camilla’s visit would include New South Wales.
