Of course, it didn’t take long for people to jump into the comments section when the story was shared on TikTok, with everyone offering their opinion on how Steve handled the situation.

Another had some practical advice on how to end the relationship, saying: “See a lawyer, transfer your money abroad, pack his things, change the locks. Tell all his friends, family and his ex-boyfriend’s partner.”
Another suggested, “Let him go home to an empty apartment with papers on the table and walk away. Make him feel the shock again, my friend.”
Whatever Steph ultimately decides, her next step, she said, will be to move in with one of her friends — hopefully someone who won’t hurt her as much as her supposed best friend.
