Freya Leach is a 21-year-old Australian girl whose video has garnered over 15,000 likes and over 200,000 views.

In her article, Ms Leach expressed her frustration with the cost of living crisis and asked: “Is it normal to feel poor in Australia?”

Ms. Leach said, News.com“She is constantly tight on money,” and if she had to rent it would set her back years.

She said she went to Woolworths to save some money on cosmetics, when she realised the prices of the products had increased.

“I went to Woolies today to buy some makeup because I wanted to save money, and Mecca etc is a scam; I went to Woolies, started looking for foundation, and the drugstore makeup was about $35-40,” she said.

After paying taxes and student loans, the 21-year-old said it would take her two hours of work to be able to buy a single bottle of foundation from the drugstore.

“Why do I feel like I can’t afford the things I used to buy?” I asked.

Ms. Leach then explained her views on inflation to her followers, expressing her sadness about the cost of living crisis in Australia.

Many of her followers agreed that prices were out of control, and some offered suggestions for saving money.

“Inflation is going crazy in Australia,” one person wrote.

Another said: “I am making the most I have ever made, but I am struggling to keep up with the cost of living. I can’t even enjoy my new high salary.”

“I now earn twice what I did a few years ago, and I still live paycheck to paycheck,” a third added.
