The DualSense – Astro Bot Limited Edition Wireless Controller will be available in limited quantities for $124.95 and will launch on September 6, which coincides with the launch of the new Astro Bot game.

The Astro Bot Playroom demo that launched with the PlayStation 5 is still one of the best ways to show off the true nature of the DualSense controller, and now with the full game and special edition controller, we couldn’t be more excited to see what they’ll do.
With the DualSense – Astro Bot Limited Edition wireless controller, you can feel the surfaces that Astro runs and slides on, from grass, sand, and metal to softer surfaces or water. This was already the case with Astro’s Playroom, but the team has increased the number of surfaces that players can feel through the controller.
Next, adaptive triggers with haptic feedback were paired with Astro’s new powers. For example, when using Barkster, the bulldog’s jetpack, you can feel the trigger hitting your finger in sync with the animation, giving you a very dynamic and immersive feel. Each new power-up was given the same special treatment so you can experience different expressions with your fingers.

Whether it’s stretching, hitting, or crashing into hard surfaces, there are many new types of effects to experience in Astro Bot.
