Apple has filed a lawsuit against Australian litigation finance firm Omni Bridgeway to force it to hand over documents related to a long-running patent claim against the iPhone maker.
Finnish company MPH Technologies filed a lawsuit against Apple in 2018, alleging that it infringed eight patents with its messaging services and seeking damages. The case has since gone through several courts, with Apple challenging the validity of the patents and then challenging its infringement.
