Australia’s favourite sweet treat is back with Allen’s, bringing delicious new flavours to supermarket shelves across the country.
Starting Monday, Killer Pythons will be available in retail stores nationwide in six exciting new flavors.
A little tart and a little sweet, the new Red Raspberry, Cola, Cream Soda, Sour Grape, Sour Watermelon, and Sour Lemon flavors will make every bite different.
Nestlé’s head of confectionery marketing, Melanie Chen, said they understand that lollipop lovers are looking for more taste sensations with the growing popularity of sour lollipops, but very sour lollipops aren’t for everyone.
“With Sweet and Sour Killer Pythons, we’ve successfully delivered on our goal of giving Australians a juicier, more delicious experience,” she said.
“It’s a personal favourite of mine, and we’re excited to share it with Australia.”
She said the team at Allen’s believes that shared fun is double fun and that sweet and sour treats are perfect for blind taste tests, knot-tying contests and sharing.
It’s the latest Australian lollipop to hit the shelves.
Last month, Allen announced that Spearmint Leaves would be returning after a nine-year absence.
But the announcement of the mint-flavoured, sugar-coated green gum has sparked mixed reactions, with some on social media calling it the worst candy ever.
Allen’s is also relaunching Sherbies in its own bag for $5.
